Celebrate Tourism Day the Grassroots Way. Give back! Vine removal, tree planting, trail project, perennial planting... Agenda 8:30 registration 9:00 intro/what to do w/coffee 9:15-12:15 project work 12:30 picnic lunch with updates: State of the State Parks- Nita Settina, Maryland Department of Natural Resources Happenings in Howard County- Rachelina Bonacci, Howard County Tourism Welcome- Jill Feinberg, Baltimore County Dept. of Economic Development. Celebrate Maryland Tourism Week by volunteering your time to help clean, plant, learn and have fun at Patapsco Valley State Park. Fee: $45 members/$65 non-members, includes coffee, waterbottle, BBQ lunch and t-shirt. Sponsor a student volunteer: $25. Sponsor the event: $250, includes website and press recognition, 2-minutes to speak, registration for 2.
